Hawkins Rise Featured in Worcester Magazine
In liue of their upcoming
debut at The Grey Hound Pub in Worcester, Massachusetts, Alex Stevenson
of the Worcester
Magazine has written a feature on Hawkins Rise!
The Worcester Magazine distributes over 34,000 copies to over 400 locations,
with a readership of over 163,000 and is the leading alternative weekly
newspaper in all of Central Massachusetts.
Excerpt: "You can find Hawkins
Rise playing mostly college bars, but Magnanti assures “We play anywhere
and everywhere we can. We’re trying to saturate ourselves in different cities
and markets. We very rarely turn down a show. In fact to be honest, I don’t

Laying Down Some Tracks
You may have noticed that Hawkins Rise
has taken the month of May, 2008 off from their normally busy live giging schedule.
This is not vacation time by any means. The boys in HR will be busy starting
the recording process for their second full length album (currently untitled).
This is only the first step so check back soon for more updates!
Also, Hawkins Rise starts up their tour again starting
June 1st, so find them at the Abbey Lounge in Somerville, MA and join in
on some good times and great music!

is a culmination of seven years of hard work and dedication." The disc contains
14 original tracks including 'Before This Night', 'Complimentary' and 'Fake'n
It'.

HR Music Store for other options! Of course you can always get your
copy from a member of the band at a local show.
